Do you need an appointment to shop at MB Prom?

There is no appointment necessary to shop with us!

When should you shop at MB Prom in the greater Pittsburgh Area?

It is never too early to find your perfect dress! For prom, we will have nearly all our dresses in stock by January. HOCO we will have nearly all dresses by July. We do multiple buying rounds for our store so new dresses are coming in YEAR-ROUND! When deciding on which day to come in, keep in mind that we operate on a first come first serve basis. To avoid being on a waitlist when arriving (yes, we get that busy on weekends even with over 20 dressing rooms!) come on weekdays or at open on weekends.

What does shopping at MB Prom look like?

When you arrive at our store, you will enter through the MB Bride main entrance and make a left to go upstairs where MB Prom is located! You will then scan a QR code to sign in. If there is a wait list, you will be placed on the waitlist. When it is time for you to shop, you will be able to grab up to 5 dresses to try on at once. There is no time limit on your appointment. You will have a consultant helping you all along the way and they will give insights into styles, colors, and the different manufacturers we carry! Lastly, enjoy the process of finding your beautiful new dress!

Is the stock accurate on your website?

Absolutely! We link our store POS with our website and update it everyday to show the most accurate stock. If you plan to stop in at our store, you can find our selection online and take screenshots of what you like! Just remember, we may sell the dress from the time you find it until you actually come into the store. We do not hold dresses so come in ASAP to try on your dress!

Does MB Prom register dresses?

Yes we do! We keep track of EVERY dress that we sell during the Prom/HOCO season to ensure no one at the same school has the same dress! We are one of the few stores that register each dress!

Does MB Prom offer alterations?

Yes, we do, however, only for customers who purchased their dresses here and when alterations has availability. Our alterations department services our ENTIRE store, from tuxedos to wedding gowns, they can do it all. This does mean that they will book up quickly so alterations are on a first come first serve basis. Shop early for your best chance to get an appointment!

What makes MB Prom unique?

We are the largest family-owned bridal shop in PA. We do prom, HOCO, wedding gowns, bridesmaids, mothers dresses, and even tuxedos! At our peak, we will have over 2,500 prom dresses in stock in our store to shop from!

Does MB Prom carry plus size dresses?

We have an extensive collection of plus size dresses! We even carry a dress manufacturer who ONLY sells plus size gowns from size 14-40 - Sydney's Closet! They specialize in making plus size dresses. They do it better than anyone through their years of experience and different measuring techniques. Check out our selection online or in-store today!

What payment methods does MB Prom take?

We take any major debit/credit cards, cash or check.
